We would like to list our books in the following categories: Happy, sad, awesome and OMG What an amazing cover! But instead we use: new and pre-owned books, crime, fiction, books by local authors, children’s, science fiction, and collectables. Through the back of the shop you’ll come across poetry and non-fiction which includes our history, transport and Scottish sections. Customers have been known to lose themselves in this part of the shop and a member of staff has had to retrieve them.

If you can’t visit in person we will be regularly updating our online shop which features a lot of the rare and collectable titles we have on the shelves.

We also get involved in local author events, so please do check the events page for details of upcoming events that we are involved in. We like to encourage everyone to support the bookshop, the authors and everyone who likes to read.
